TUber™
The essential fish delivery service
Overview
The TUber™ is a mobile fish transport system that uses the SalmonCannon™, a passive accelerator that propels fish through a flexible transport tube, to safely and efficiently move fish from a river trap to a transport truck or tote.
Benefits
Reduced Fish Handling and Stress
The TUber™ minimizes the contact between the fish and the human handlers, as well as the exposure of the fish to air and sun. This reduces the potential for injury, disease, and mortality of the fish, as well as the stress response that can affect their quality and survival.
Increased Efficiency and Productivity
The TUber™ can transport fish faster and more reliably than manual methods, such as boots or nets. This saves time and labor costs, as well as increases the capacity and throughput of the fish transport process. The TUber™ can also operate in various weather conditions and adapt to different weir-trap setups.
Enhanced Safety and Comfort
The TUber™ improves the safety and comfort of the fisheries personnel, as they do not have to carry heavy loads of fish or work in harsh environments. The TUber™ also reduces the risk of accidents and injuries that can occur from handling slippery and sharp fish or operating machinery.
Less Environmental Impact
Getting a fish from the bottom of a ravine or trap to a truck on a roadway above can have a permanent impact on the shoreline. Running up and down the embankment with heavy equipment or personnel, in combination with a little water, can and does create unwanted erosion. With the TUber, the environmental impact on your shorelines and banks is minimized. The turnkey system is designed to leave no footprint.

How It Works
The TUber™ consists of several components: the SalmonCannon™, the Migrator™ tube, tower and reel, the mobile support trailer, and the generator or renewable power source. The SalmonCannon™ is a device that uses air pressure to pull and push fish through a wetted entry and exit point. The MigratorTube™ is a flexible hose that connects the SalmonCannon™ to the transport truck or tote. The auxiliary support trailer contains the blower, water separator, air hoses, control system, reel, and tower that enable the operation and storage of the TUber™. The generator provides the power supply for the blower, misting box, and optional water sump pump.
