Product offerings
All Whooshh products are designed to support our climate resiliency mission to SAVE the native fish, FEED the planet, GROW clean energy, and HEAL the environment. Therefore, each product undergoes rigorous testing and independent studies before we make them commercially available. Many of our products solutions are also modular, so a product can stand on its own or be packaged with other components to meet the site requirements and optimize the solution for local conditions or requirements. With climate change presenting new challenges daily, speed, flexibility and adaptability are paramount. While all systems are built for the rigors of the elements when permanently installed, many of our products can also be deployed seasonally or only used when needed thereby minimizing its environmental footprint.

PassagePortal™ Model L
The Whooshh Passage Portal Model L is a complete, volitional entry, fully automated, land-based permanent selective fish passage system. It selectively sorts and transports most fish species. The automated successor to the Salmon Cannon, the Whooshh Passage Portal Model L safely transports fish beyond barriers, independent of height, by application of differential air pressure.
PassagePortal™ Model F
The Whooshh PassagePortal Model F is a complete, volitional entry, fully automated floating selective fish passage system. It selectively sorts and passes most fish species. The automated successor to the Salmon Cannon, the Whooshh PassagePortal Model F allows migrating fish to pass safely over dams, without any dam height limitations, in protective Migrator tube on a misted soft cushion of air.
Guardian™
A floating, invasive species fisheries control system. With volitional entry, automatic fish recognition, and selective sorting features, native species are identified and instantly returned to the river whereas invasive, undesired fish species are selectively removed, permanently. Remove invasive or undesired fish species and restore the natural food web with the Guardian.
HarvestSelect™
Where artificial intelligence meets natural resources. A cutting-edge commercial fish harvest system that identifies and releases fish bycatch on the spot. The automated sorting complement to the pound net and other targeted fish stock commercial harvest traps, the floating Harvest Select™ eliminates fish handling and minimizes bycatch injury potential and migration delay.
Selector™
The Selector™ is an autonomous fish management device that, through retrofit integration, is designed to convert weir barriers which prevent fish passage or fish ladders which provide fish passage to all species, both desired and undesired, into fish monitoring and sorting, selective fish passage devices. Converts all or nothing fish passage into deliberate sorting for selective species fish passage.
Fishl™ Recognition
High-definition imaging and computational processing system, the Fishl™ Recognition system has AI-enabled features and species recognition with computationally derived fish measurements. Hands free, real time fish imaging and decision making capabilities built in.
TUber™
All in one trap to truck mobile fish transport system. A complete fish transport system making a day of work, a couple hours of efficient fun. The TUber™ is a hatchery broodstock favorite. Across-river weirs with mid-stream traps are very effective at collecting all migrating fish which can then be manually sorted to fulfill hatchery quotas. With the Tuber’s Salmon Cannon™ mounted to the trap, the sorted hatchery fish are gently hand loaded into the device for a swift glide through the Migrator™ tube to the shore. The TUber™ simplifies transport while reducing effort and the injury potential to both fish and personnel.
RescueRouter™
The RescueRouter™ is the portable hand-load fish transport solution for short, unexpected, temporary and/or varied routes for fish needing rescue, temporary and emergency conditions that require a fast response time, and NGO volunteer conservation efforts. Straight forward, easy installation complemented with an alternative power source such as a rented generator, the RescueRouter™ is simply designed to address fish transport and fish passage needs when more permanent solutions are not immediately available. A blast for you, a lifeline for the fish.
BroodMaker™
Designed to be compact, mobile and efficient in supporting aquaculture and hatchery fish transport needs, the BroodMaker™ is small enough to roll between tanks providing great versatility and alternate transport location options. Biochemical and behavior studies have shown this cart-based hand load fish transport system to provide a low stress and effective means of rapidly transferring valuable broodstock between tanks within a facility. Flexible setup positioning minimizes handling while the differential air-pressure transport produces low stress, rapid, safe fish transfer. No stress, less mess, more viable eggs.
FiletFlyer™
Integrated into the fish processing plant workstream, the FiletFlyer™ is designed to to quickly move fish processing plant morts with ease, within a clean closed system, enhancing the quality of the fish and extending shelf life.
Switchback™
Modular juvenile eel (elver) collector. Switchback design with proprietary EF-16 climbing substrate and protective mesh housing accommodates elver ease of entry regardless of water level fluctuations while preventing predator access.
Elverator™
The floating elver collector is a step above the rest. It provides extensive volitional ramp access, proprietary, highly effective, EF-16 climbing substrate, a large, shaded area with directed attraction flow and features to prevent predator access. Easily re-position the Elverator at likely catch locations and track your success. Soon you’ll be collecting 3X more elver than you ever have before.
LampWay™
A floating Pacific lamprey collector and fish passage device, the Lampway™, combines attraction flow with versatile, easy access floating ramps to flexible, protective, smooth tubes as a climbing path around migration barriers.
FISHCON FishLock™
Bi-direction, dual chamber, fish passage device for low-head (< 20’) dams. An innovative, cost-effective, technology that allows for both upstream and downstream volitional fish passage of all species of fish.
ASP Fishway
Angle adaptable, aluminum constructed, baffled, modified Alaskan steeppass ASP Fishway. The modular, angle adjustable ASP Fishway is a low head dam fish passage solution and an entry component for Whoooshh volitional high head dam fish passage and fish removal solutions. Composed of 10’ long joined sections, the standard ASP Fishway is 30 feet in length plus the angle adapter. The side wall and bottom baffles are angled upstream to catch the downward descending flow temporarily arresting its progress thereby slowing the overall flow velocity through the ASP Fishway.
